Two Master's theses from the first cohort of the LIO program were presented with the LIO Netural Master's Thesis Award. The award is presented to theses in recognition of outstanding contributions to research on leadership, innovation and/or organization, and providing insight for decision-makers. Two equally outstanding theses were selected.
One thesis was jointly written by Maximilian Kuchenbauer, Nico Mang, and Samuel Scherzinger. They developed a scale to measure how migrant entrepreneurs relate to their environment.
The other winning thesis was written by Marcella Krawinkler. She identified core elements and driving factors for sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems.
LIO program gathers many different people with diverse backgrounds. At some point, ones decide to challenge themselves and look for the job in the company, others open their own companies and some decide to pursue academic career path.
