In the research project "Corporate Behavior in E-Commerce" we analyze company and customer strategies based on the data of the Austrian price search engine Geizhals.at. Which search strategies do customers follow? How do different types of online retailers classify? What are the successful (pricing) strategies in the Austrian e-commerce retailing? Moreover, more fundamental aspects of industrial economics are also at the center of our research: How do price adjustment cost or the degree of competition influence companies' pricing behavior?
