Curriculum Vitae

Johann K. Brunner was Professor of Economics at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and Head of the Department of Public Finance from 1995 to 2019. He was Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business from 2003 to 2007. He visited and lectured at a number of international universities. His main field of activity is the economics of the public sector, in particular the theory and policy of taxation and of social insurance.
