The Linz Clinician Scientist Program provides physicians at the Kepler University Hospital with the time and space they need to conduct scientific/academic work by funding a research leave from their daily clinical routine.

The Clinician Scientist Program (CSP) is intended to foster the next generation of KUK physicians at the start of their scientific/academic career, particularly those interested in conducting research as well as earning a doctorate degree as part of the JKU MED’s Medical Sciences program.

The Advanced Clinician Scientist Program (ACSP) is a medical specialists’ qualification program at the KUK for those who have completed their doctoral studies in Medical Sciences (or hold comparable academic qualifications) and aim to earn a post-doctoral qualification at the JKU MED.

Physicians at the Kepler University Hospital who are interested in conducting research and aim to earn a doctoral degree in Medical Sciences or a post-doc/habilitation at the JKU MED can apply for the LINZ CLINICIAN SCIENTIST PROGRAM (the program start date is October 1, 2023) at the JKU Faculty of Medicine between December 5, 2022 to January 15, 2023.
