Digital Teaching & Learning Services.

As the Digital Teaching and Learning Services Department, we are part of the Department Information Management and are divided into two units:

  • E-Learning
  • Media technology

Our area of expertise is the support and accompaniment of teaching from the lecture hall to the students at home. For this purpose, we operate the learning platform Moodle, and systems for the production of course videos. Furthermore, we push the renewal of the media technology equipment and administer the video conferencing tool Zoom.

  • Provide instructions (for the video conferencing system hosted and operated in the cloud).
  • Advice and support for teachers

Video streaming (live streams and recording options on the JKU campus)

  • Provision, maintenance and ongoing operation of the system environment
  • Provision of instructions for the users of the system
  • Advice and support for teachers

Media technology (Provision of the media technology equipment in the lecture halls)

  • Multimedia support for teaching at JKU
