Digital Teaching & Learning Services.

The Department of Digital Teaching and Learning Services is part of Information Management and is divided into two divisions:

  • E-Learning
  • Media Technology

Our area of expertise includes supporting and assisting educators, ranging from classes held on-site to remote learning. We manage the learning platform Moodle, as well as production systems to create course videos. We also ensure that state-of-the-art media technology equipment is available and we manage the video conferencing tool Zoom.

E-Learning

  • Provide, maintain and support ongoing systems operation
  • Support and maintain the interfaces to the JKU's campus management system
  • Provide instructions to system users
  • Provide information and support services for educators

  • Ensure the IT system is available

Media Technology

  • Provide instructions and information (for the video conferencing system hosted and operated in the cloud).
  • Provide information and support services for educators

  • Provide, maintain, and ensure ongoing system operations
  • Provide instructions for system users
  • Provide information and support services for educators

  • Multimedia support for educational purposes at the JKU
