The minimum annual salary in accordance with the collective agreement is EUR 60,926.60 gross. After the possible conclusion of the qualification agreement, the minimum annual gross salary will be EUR 71,738.80. A higher salary is a matter of negotiation.

Job Duties:

• Statistical advice for medical professionals when planning clinical studies or projects in clinical research
• Support in creating study designs and determining sample numbers
• Support with evaluation planning and conduct of statistcal analysis
• Coordination of interdisciplinary projects within the CCS Linz
• Support of the statistical team homepage of the CCS Linz
• Main responsible person for statistical queries of the JKU ethics committee office by request
• Taking on teaching duties in medical studies or postgraduate training
• Scientific advice from the Linz Animal Ethics Council
• Conduct of quality assurance measures
• Development and documentation of key figures for the intellectual capital statement and internal trend analysis

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a completed (university) degree in statistics or comparable training
• Doctorate and experience in medical statistics are an advantage
• Experience in statistical support of clinical studies and cooperation with issues in clinical research
• Experience with regulatory requirements for statistics in clinical research (e.g. ICH E9)
• Very good computer and IT knowledge and experience with the relevant programs and software
• German and English skills, spoken and written (German level C1, English level B2)
• Solution and goal-oriented work as well as the ability to work in a team
• High level of commitment, flexibility and resilience
