We are pleased to announce that our colleague Gargi Mukjerhee has successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis today. Her thesis was written in the framework of the FWF-funded doctoral program computational mathematics under the supervision of Manuel Kauers. It contains some interesting new results related to log-concavity properties of the overpartition function. A part of her work has been accepted for publication in the Ramanujan Journal, further articles are currently under review. We congratulate Gargi on her accomplishments and wish her all the best for her academic future.
