We congratulate our colleague Georg Regensburger on being appointed as professor for computer algebra at the university of Kassel.
He will start his new job already in the winter semester 2021/22. Georg has been in Linz for many years. He spent most of his time
at RICAM and moved to the institute for algebra about five years ago. He has greatly contributed to the research and teaching
activities of the institute by running FWF standalone projects, by advising students, and by teaching, among others, the central
algebra course in the bachelor's curriculum for technical mathematics. His moving to Kassel will be a significant loss for our team.
Nevertheless, we wish him all the best in his new position and hope to stay in touch.
