Sebastian Kreinecker completed his Ph.D. studies

Sebastian Kreinecker successfully defended his thesis "Closed sets of functions on algebras of prime power order"

The Institute for Algebra congratulates its member Sebastian Kreinecker on the successful completion of his Ph.D. studies. He defended his thesis on "Closed sets of functions on algebras of prime power order" today in a well-attended Zoom meeting. The results of his thesis were obtained in the framework of Erhard Aichinger's FWF project "Clonoids: a unifying approach to equational logic and clones".

Results from his thesis have been published in the Journal of Multiple-Valued Logic and Soft Computing (MVLSC) and in Quaestiones Mathematicae. He also presented his results at several international conferences, including one invited presentation. We thank him for the pleasant cooperation and wish him all the best for his future!
