Economic effects of the Tyrolian transport reform

This research project uses input-output analysis to estimate the impact of the recent Tyrolian transport reform. It thereby takes into account the direct value added created by investment in existing capacities as well as the effect of lower fare prices on household disposable income and consumption. It also accounts for value-added effects due to the associated production taking place in the supplying industries as well as additional consumption demand due to the additional income created within this process.
