Research Project GUESSS

Since 2006, the research project „Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students‘ Survey (GUESSS)“ has been investigating students‘ entrepreneurial attitudes, start-up planning, and start-up activities of students worldwide at regular intervals. The GUESSS project has been jointly coordinated by the University of St.Gallen (KMU-HSG/CFB-HSG) and the University of Bern (IMU) since 2016. In 2018, a total of 208,000 students from over 3,000 universities in 54 countries participated in this international online survey. A new survey wave will be conducted in 2021.

Since the first survey wave in 2006, the Austrian report has been compiled with the participation of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.
