Prof. Werner Rieder-Preis 2019

Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Patrick Hölzl

Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Patrick Hölzl is winner of the Prof. Werner Rieder-Preis 2019. He received the award from the association Verein zur Förderung der Schalterforschung for his PhD work “Detection of defective bond wire connections in integrated circuits utilizing a GMR line array developed for magnetic field measurements with high spatial resolution”. The award endowed with € 2.500,— was handed over at the evening event of the OVE Energietechnik Tagung on 16th October 2019 in the Messe Innsbruck.

OGMA-PRIZE 2015

Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Daniel Christian Herbert Schleicher

On June 15th, 2016 the OGMA-PRIZE 2015 has been awarded for several outstanding works as part of the 128th OVE (Austrian Electrotechnical Association) Generalversammmlung. Additionally to an HTL project work, a thesis and two dissertations were awarded this year.

Next to Mr. Dipl.-Ing Dr. Harald Steiner Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Daniel Schleicher has been awarded with the OGMA-PRIZE 2015 for his outstanding doctor thesis entitled „Image analysis and estimation algorithms to determine the ovality of steel coils“.

The Austrian Electrotechnical Association also congratulates Prof. Bernhard Zagar as supervisor on this outstanding achievement.

Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Daniel Christian Herbert Schleicher has been awarded twice for his outstanding doctor thesis entitled "Image analysis and estimation algorithms to determine the ovality of steel coils".

for his presentation titled "Theory and Simulation of Fluorescence in a Polymer Melt Strand" to the scientific program of the 21st IMEKO TC2 Symposium on Photonics in Measurements, held in Gdansk, Poland, September 16-18, 2013.

György Striker Junior Paper Award 2012

Presented to Dipl.-Ing. Dominik Hofer

for his outstanding contribution to the scientific program of the 20th IMEKO World Congress, in form of a paper presentation entitled "Laser Speckle Simulation on a Rough Wetting Problem".
