What happens when product information is incomplete or incorrect in (mobile) e-commerce shops?

This is exactly the research question that the Institute for Retailing, Sales and Marketing dealt with in a recent study.

The results show that incomplete or incorrect product information not only has a negative impact on the sales of online retailers, but also that the image of the retailer suffers immensely.
