The research carried out by members of the Institute of Analysis includes various areas of Analysis and applications, including Approximation Theory, Banach Space Theory, Dynamical Systems, Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, High Dimensional Geometry, Operator Theory, Spectral Theory, Wavelets, along with their diverse cross-links to fields of pure and applied mathematics such as Computational Mathematics, Convex Geometry, Mathematical Physics, and Nonlinear Resonances.
The Institute is responsible for a plethora of lectures, tutorials and seminars for the Bachelor Program Technical Mathematics, Master Program Mathematics in Science and PhD Studies. In addition, we are commited in service courses for technical and natural science, such as Physics, Mechatronics, Polymer Engineering, Biochemistry together with Teaching Mathematics.
