The program focuses strongly on learning statistical methods and their applications. The program also prepares students to not only pursue graduate studies in Statistics, but graduate studies in other fields, particularly Business. Graduates of the program are highly trained and skilled for professional occupations of today.

Prospective Careers

Graduates in Statistics can apply their knowledge and skills in occupational areas where large scale data and is applied as well as systematically managed and analyzed. Statisticians are often hired at:

  • Base-knowledge: This means a solid mathematical background taught in relevant lectures and seminars for the study of statistics.
  • Knowledge of Methods: Application-oriented classes will help students become more familiar with important models and methods used in applied statistics.
  • Interdisciplinary Skills: Statisticians must be capable of working with specialists in other fields. To this end, the Bachelor's degree program in Statistics contains a large block of elective courses in which students can complete coursework for various areas of applications that involve statistics.
