In the context of strategic planning, organizational development and project management, SMARTtransformation provides a generic method that can be applied in different contexts and problem domains.

The main idea of SMARTtransformation is a stakeholder based systemic and structured seizing, analyzing, and arranging of tasks. This is assured by considering all relevant stakeholders and influence factors. The goal of SMARTtransformation is to obtain a holistic understanding of tasks and processes through bridging the gap between theory and operation. This approach supports businesses in developing a sustainable culture of organizational learning.
