On March 7, the inaugural lectures of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics took place in the Festsaal of JKU.


Prof.ⁱⁿ Dr.ⁱⁿ Barbara Krumay, Bakk. MSc (WU) (Institute of Business Informatics - Information Engineering) spoke on the topic "Privacy and Security Management in Times of Digitalization and Digital Transformation - Awareness and Understanding in Organizations".

Content: Digitalization and digital transformation are phenomena that have not only changed individuals and society - they also have a major impact on organizations. In addition to opportunities that arise from new technologies and the advancing use of information systems, challenges also arise that organizations must face. In order to be able to manage these challenges appropriately, awareness and understanding must be created, measured and constantly renewed in the organizations, according to the findings from science.
