Laila and Leander completed an internship
with us as part of the Young Scientists program. 

For one month they were introduced to the
world of chemistry by our lab assistant Sonja
and our PhD students.

For his outstanding dissertation Tim Gläsel recieved
the Young Scientists Award on July 3rd.

Congratulations for this accomplishment.

With a barbecue in Gini's garden we were able to end
the semester well, and could get the summerfeeling
started with the right amount of beer.

In charge of the food was clearly the head of the institut
who was crowned to the official grill master this day.
Fortunately he could safe a good meal for all of us.  

Thomas has succesfully defended his PhD thesis
on 7th of June, 2023. 

At the celebration there was plenty of food and cake and
the party lasted until morning hours.

Thomas we wish you all the best for your future!
We will miss your laughs and jokes!
