Raise Your Voice

Raise Your Voice was featured at Ars Electronica as an interactive art installation exploring the authority gap between age groups.

raiseyourvoice

Developed by Jan Schlüter and Silvan David Peter, the installation highlights how younger generations, especially minors, often struggle to be taken seriously. Visitors record statements or dialogues, which are then converted into adult voices, allowing them to reflect on how they perceive the content and uncover age-related biases. Speakers can choose to listen to the recordings privately or broadcast them to radios on-site, promoting introspection about societal attitudes. Through this thought-provoking experience, Raise Your Voice challenges listeners to consider the perspectives of those who may not hold authority now but will shape the future.
