Master's Theses

The Master's Thesis...

... comprises a total of 28 ECTS and consists of:

  • the master's thesis (25 ECTS) and
  • the master's thesis seminar (3 ECTS)

Admission requirements for the master's thesis

Compulsory subjects successfully completed to the extent of at least 30 ECTS
Elective courses successfully completed with at least 10 ECTS
You should note the following information for the master’s seminar:

  • A written paper is to be written as part of the master’s seminar. In contrast to the bachelor thesis, it is not limited in time.

The specific topic allocation takes place after personal consultation with your supervisor / contact person.

The progress of the work is determined by the supervisors by means of three intermediate and one detailed final presentation. A more detailed guide can be found in the "Leaflet Requirements for the Assessment of the Master's Thesis".

Important: Registration for the master’s seminar at KUSSS is required!
