The guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Altenburger (IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems) gave the students exciting insights into the broad topic of the connection between family businesses and Corporate Social Responsibility, or CSR for short. The focus was on the special features of family businesses and their (mutual) influence on CSR activities. Prof. Altenburger taught the students the basics and theoretical approaches as well as the associated practical implications and challenges. The conclusion was a lively discussion on the connection between family businesses, values and CSR.
