Guest lecture "Focus on the common good and sustainable management in the Freistadt brewing commune"

As part of the course "Ethics - Effects of Entrepreneurial Action", Dr.in Sandra Stötzer from the Institute of Public and Nonprofit Management and Dr.in Melanie Lubinger from the Institute of Management Control & Consulting presented on Monday, 17. April new findings from a current research project. The guest lecture entitled “Focus on the common good and sustainable management in the Freistadt brewing commune” included not only the project presentation but also selected opportunities and risks that can be derived from the special features of the Freistadt brewing commune. Based on this, the empirical results were analyzed in a practical manner with regard to orientation towards the common good and economy for the common good. In addition to stimulating content, the students were also able to gain insights into the research process. The lecture was rounded off with questions and discussions.

The results of the research project were also recorded in a scientific article that will soon be published in the journal for community economy and public welfare.
