On the 10^th of November 2022 the P. Johannes Schasching SJ Price was conferred for the 14^th time. The price, which is awarded every two years, aims at encouraging dialog between economy, ethics as well as religion and is an initiative of the Federation of Austrian Industries in cooperation with the Catholic Private University of Linz and the Forum of Christian Leaders. The the price awards scientific studies, which deal with the relation between business and ethics, theology, religion or chirch as well with the possibilities of an economy that is appropriate for things, humans an societies.  

The Schasching Price is endowed with 7.500€  in total and awards scientists in four categories. Mag. Julia Feldbauer, BEd, lecturer at the Institute of Management Control and Consulting, was conferred with the price in the category journal articles and essays for her paper about insights in jewish business and company ethics.
