Organized Creativity

The Institute participated in the DFG - Research Group "FOR 2161: Organized Creativity" with a sub-project on "Temporary Co-presence to Induce and Reduce Uncertainty in Creative Processes". The research group, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), investigated the structures and practices in and with which uncertainty is promoted, channeled or prevented in the creative process. The members, who have a background in business administration, economic geography and sociology, explored these dynamics using the music and pharmaceutical industries as examples.
