Manuel Schlenkrich received a BSc. in Technical Mathematics and Dipl.-Ing. in Industrial Mathematics, as well as a BSc. in Business & Economics from Johannes Kepler University Linz and spent an Erasmus+ semester abroad at the TU Eindhoven. Currently he is employed at the Institute of Production and Logistics Management at the Johannes Kepler University as a predoctoral researcher. In the FWF funded project within he is working towards his PhD, Manuel Schlenkrich focuses on stochastic and robust optimization methods combined with efficient metaheuristic approaches in order to solve complex problems in production planning. Moreover, he is employed as a Software Engineer at RISC Software GmbH in the Unit Logisitcs Informatics, where he is working in the areas of optimization, machine learning and combinations of these fields.
