Managing Director Roland Lechner talked about the current challenges of global supply chains and the importance of data, models and analytics, especially in strategic planning, the role of new technologies, what sustainability goals Aldi/Hofer is pursuing and how they are implemented. The students were invited to actively participate in the discussion and received detailed answers to their questions.

The "Operations and Supply Chain Management" lecture of the Institute of Production and Logistics Management is part of the master's programs in Economic and Business Analytics and Business Informatics, as well as the bachelor's programs in Business Administration and International Business Administration. It focuses on quantitative models and methods. The insights provided in our guest lectures, which take place every semester, highlight their value in practice.
