Curriculum Vitae

Michael Lunglmayr studied Hardware/Software Systems Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, and received his Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree with distinction in 2005. He then started his Ph.D. work on decoding algorithms for LDPC codes, in cooperation with Infineon Technologies in Munich. In 2009 he received the Dr.-Ing. degree from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In March 2009, he joined the Embedded Systems and Signal Processing Group at the Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt as a Postdoc. Since September 2014 he is Postdoc at the Institute of Signal Processing of the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

His current research interests are in information and complexity theory, algorithms for real-time signal processing - especially for estimation - their theory and implementation in digital hardware and software.
