Christoph Preissl was born in Linz, Austria in 1987. From 2007 till 2013 he studied at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz where he first obtained his Bachelor degree in Technical Mathematics and then his Master degree in Industrial Mathematics in 2010 and 2013, respectively. He wrote his Master thesis in cooperation with MathConsult GmbH in the field of Inverse Problems. His thesis deals with Adaptive Optics (AO), a technology used in large astronomical telescopes to improve the image quality by reducing the effect of wavefront distortions. In December 2014 he joined the company Danube Mobile Communications Engineering (Intel Linz) where he is currently working on his PhD. His research activities focus on the field of RF transceivers for cellular applications. Since December 2014, he is a member of the Institute of Signal Processing (ISP) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.
