Curriculum Vitae

Ram Sunil Kanumalli was born in Guntur, India in 1989. He received the Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India, in 2009. From 2009 to 2012 he studied Master of Science program Information Techonolgy at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria, specializing in the Embedded Communications and Signal Processing field. His master thesis dealt with Carrier Frequency Offset estimation in Unique Word (UW)-OFDM. During his Masters he spent half a year working on Power Management Unit topics for mobile RF transceivers at DMCE/Intel Mobile Communications (IMC), Linz. From July 2012 to August 2013, he was working as a scientific staff member in the Embedded Systems and Signal Processing group at the Alpen-Adria-Universität focussing on the signal processing problems in the frequency and clock generation and distribution system in RF transceivers. In September 2013, he joined the Institute of Signal Processing (ISP) at Johannes Kepler University Linz and working towards his PhD in cooperation with ACCM Linz and DMCE/IMC Linz GmbH. His research activities focus on RF impairments mitigation using adaptive and statistical signal processing techniques for LTE and LTE-A RF transceiver systems.

Master Thesis : Ram Sunil Kanumalli, "Investigation of Carrier Frequency Offset Estimation Techniques for Unique Word (UW) - OFDM Systems", at the Institute of Networked and Embedded Systems, Alpen-Adria-University Klagenfurt, September 2012.
