Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Baumgartner

Curriculum Vitae

Stefan Baumgartner was born in Linz, Austria, in 1996. From October 2016 to April 2021, he studied Electronics and Information Technology at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, where he obtained his Dipl.-Ing. degree. Besides, he worked part-time at the Linz Center of Mechatronics (LCM) from 2016 to 2020. During his studies, he specialized in signal and information processing and wrote his Master’s thesis on ‘Neural Network Based Data Estimation’. Since May 2021, he is a member of the Institute of Signal Processing at JKU, where he is working towards his PhD in the JKU LIT SAL embedded Signal Processing and Machine Learning (eSPML) lab. There, his research focuses on machine learning approaches in communications engineering.
