Paul Grünbacher is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Software Systems Engineering at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (Austria). His research interests include software product lines, model-based development and evolution, requirements engineering, and software monitoring. Paul is the head of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Monitoring and Evolution of Very-Large-Scale Software Systems, a 7-year research project co-funded by industrial partners. He has published more than 150 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and workshops. Paul is an Editorial Board Member of the Empirical Software Engineering Journal (Springer) and the Information and Software Technology Journal (Elsevier). He is regularly serving as a reviewer for international journals and conferences. He is member of ACM, ACM SIGSOFT, the IEEE CS, the Austrian Computer Society, and Euromicro.
