Who is eligible to apply for the MOREclassic program?

• Refugees or displaced persons, and providing you
  • are already studying at the JKU and have a valid letter of admission, or
  • you still have to take one or more supplementary examinations as part of the pre-study program
     

What documents do we need from you?

• A completed and signed application form
• A letter of Intent (a min. ½ of an A4-size page)
• Current residence card (copy)
• A letter of admission issued by the JKU and copy of your JKU-Card (if available)
• The most recently issued German language certificate (if available)
• Proof of financial support (i.e. study grant, Ernst Mach scholarship, etc., if available)
• Confirmation of employment (if available)
• Copy of your academic transcripts (KUSSS) from the 2022/2023 or WS 2023/24 academic year and a study record sheet
   

Submit your application for the 2024 Summer Semester by March 15, 2024.
Send your application with all of the required documents to more@jku.at (Subject: Application MOREclassic).

Who can apply for the Borealis-MORE Scholarship?

• Refugees or displaced persons
• Those who hold a letter of admission issued by the JKU Linz to enroll in an academic degree
  program
• Those currently not receiving any financial support (study grant, Ernst Mach Scholarship, etc.)
   

What documents do we need from you?

• Completed and signed application form
• Curriculum vitae
• Letter of Intent (min. ½ of an A4-size page)
• Copy of your current residence card and / or identity card
• Copy of your letter of admission stating you may enroll in the degree program of your choice
• Verification of rejection for a state study grant, such as the Ernst-Mach scholarship (= rejected application,
  if available)
• Asylum decision
• Confirmation of employment (if available)
• Copy of your academic transcripts (KUSSS) from the 2022/2023 academic year and a study record
  sheet
   

Send your application and documents by e-mail to: borealis-more-stipendium@jku.at by July 16, 2023 (=application deadline!).
You will receive notification containing information about scheduling an interview at the JKU Linz in July 2023.
