Once again, there will be a lot to explore, discover, and experience!
While enjoying cake & coffee, you can write on the Recommendation Wall and share what your favorite spots in Austria are, along with any helpful and handy tips you may have about living in Austria. You can immerse yourself in learning more about the “Journey of an International”, or put your design skills to the test as part of a mini “Flipchart Workshop”.

Show your Diversity - Flipchart Workshop

A professional illustrator will hold three introductory workshops on lettering, the use of symbols, and boxing techniques.
The poster designs will complement the JKU’s Diversity Month during May.

The workshops will take place as follows:
• 2.30 PM: Say it: Lettering
• 3.30 PM: Show it: Symbols & Icons
• 4.30 PM: Frame it: Banners & more

While you are busy working on your poster, the instructor will be on hand to provide support and guidance as you create an artwork that reflects your personal thoughts and ideas regarding diversity.
You can either take your poster home, or have it displayed at the International Welcome Center.

During our Open House on May 9, 2023, visitors at the IWC can enjoy an array of authentic international treats.
