Lisa-Viktoria Niederberger

Born in 1988, Lisa-Viktoria Niederberger is an author and cultural scientist (Linz) who writes prose, essays and texts for children. Her artistic work focuses on topics that include mental illness, climate protection, and social justice and, most recently, as an audio installation and essay, "Wie wir sind", as part of the exhibition "de/re constructing female bodies" at the OÖ-Kulturquartier in December 2022. She has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Talent Promotion Award by the State of Upper Austria 2019, Art Promotion Award by the City of Linz, Theodor-Körner Promotion Award, and annual scholarship of the Literar Mechana.  She is a member of the Graz Authors' Assembly, IG Fem, and the Professional Association of Austrian Writing Teachers. Since 2021, she has been holding writing workshops that focus on creative techniques, as well as recognizing and overcoming writer's block.
