Four Young Researcher's Awards went to the OIC in 2024! Award winners (from left to right): Bianca Wiesmayr, Kevin Feichtinger, Lisa Sonnleithner (all Cyber-Physical Systems Lab), Sandra Maria Siedl (Robopsychology Lab) Supervisors: Alois Zoitl, Rick Rabiser (Cyber-Physical Systems Lab), Martina Mara (Robopsychology Lab)

Dr. Sandra Maria Siedl has been working on exoskeletons at the LIT Robopsychology Lab since 2020 when she was a PhD candidate. As "wearable robots", exoskeletons are being used more to help employees working in industrial environments to stay more physicially fit. Dr. Sandra Maria Siedl's empirical studies and lab studies explore just how exoskeletons affect their users' sense of identity and the conditions these workers would be willing to permanently use exoskeletons in a work environment. After successfully defending her dissertation at the beginning of this year, she has opted to remain at the Robopsychology Lab as part of the team and as a post-doc candidate. Congratulations, Sandra, on this well-deserved honor!
