With financial and logistic support of IPMT, ANSOLE happily celebrates on February 4th its 10th anniversary (2011 - 2021) in form of a digital international conference:
„ANSOLE DAYS 2021 & BALEWARE 2021, opens an external URL in a new window“ on the theme : Solar Energy Materials & Energy-Water Nexus. The event is co-organized by IPMT and the International Science Programme (ISP) of Uppsala University, Sweden. It will witness attendance from Africa, Europe, Asia and North America and Latin America. JKU participates with 5 lectures of which two are keynote lectures, one from Professor Serdar Sariciftci, director of Linz Institute for Organic Solar Cells (LIOS) (From organic electronics towards bio-organic systems for CO2 recycling) and one from Professor Reinhold Lang, director of IPMT (Navigating the GREAT INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION? An Austrian Perspective for a NEW (GREEN) DEAL between AFRICA and EUROPE. Markus Gall (IPMT) lectures on „Socially inclusive plastics recycling - a multi-year case study from Kenya“ while Daniel A. M. Egbe (IPMT), International Coordinator of ANSOLE and main organizer of the event will in his lecture give an account on the achievements of ANSOLE in the last decade
ANSOLE, opens an external URL in a new window was launched on the 4th of February 2011 at the JKU Linz with the support of Professor Serdar Sariciftci. The coordination of ANSOLE´s activities moved to IPMT in the fall of 2016, which, since then, has contributed to further strengthen and expand JKU´s international relations to Africa. ANSOLE and its director can look back with pride for the many achievements in the past 10 years, which in the last 5 years could only berealized with the moral and material support from IPMT.
