The Institute of Business Informatics - Information Engineering together with the Institute of Entrepreneurship is organizing the 4th Paper Development Workshop on Green, Responsible, Ethical, Social/Sustainable IT and IS - the Corporate Perspective (GRES-IT/IS).

New (Additional) Topic: (GRES-)IT/IS and challenges evolving from (un)recognized opportunities Although digitalization is a transformation challenge rather than a technological one, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced many people into the application of technologies without the possibility to assess their value. This includes all forms of home working tools, tracking technologies or identity checks respectively checking vaccination status. However, organizations also rapidly had to implement new technologies to digitalize their processes, logistics or onboarding to stay in the business. Yet, the full potential of these technologies on for example, company’s strategy or employee skills has rarely been assessed. Thus, in addition to the general topic of GRES-IT/IS, human-centered perspectives on the role of IS/IT are welcome. The topics can be found in the invitation, opens a file.
