First Transalpine Organizing Creativity Paper Deve

Given the rise in the number of creativity researchers at the JKU Business School, Claudio Biscaro (Institute of Leadership and Change Management), Elke Schüßler (Institute of Organization Science) and Fabrizio Montanari (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia) came together to organize the "First Transalpine Organizing Creativity Paper Development Workshop" at the JKU. For several years, Elke Schüßler and her team have conducted research on processes and practices of organizing creativity as part of an DFG/FWF-funded research unit, opens an external URL in a new window. Claudio Biscaro and his team have focused on cognitive and network dynamics of creativity. Both professors have worked on creative industries together with Fabrizio Montanari and his research group. To bridge communities as well as revitalize and connect several creativity and creative industries-focused communities that used to meet regularly at EGOS, the paper development workshop invited scholars from around the world to discuss their works in progress and get feedback from a renowned international faculty, including professors Joerg Sydow (FU Berlin), Gernot Grabher (HCU Hamburg), Simone Ferriani (University of Bologna & Bayes Business School), Sara Lombardi (University of Florence), Pier Vittorio Mannucci (Bocconi) as well as JKU faculty members consisting of Robert Bauer, Elke Schüßler, Claudio Biscaro, and co-organizer Fabrizio Montanari. The group of scholars was enthusiastic about the workshop and encouraged to support a community-building effort, creating a plan is to organize a workshop series that will regularly takes place between the JKU, Italy and Germany.
