Research projects were presented at the festive closing event

On Wednesday, 1 February 2023, the Institute of Business Informatics - Information Engineering celebrated the conclusion of the research projects of the winter semester 2022/23 with a festive closing event. At this semester's event, around 120 students and research partners were invited to participate in person.

The event took place in the foyer of Science Park 5 and was musically framed by the band. After opening speeches by Prof. Dr. Krumay and Lektor Dr. Rückel, the event was kicked off by Vice Rector Prof. Koch and representative of the partner company Mr. Pils. Afterwards, the students presented their research results.  At the beginning of the semester, the students were divided into groups and assigned project topics, with many interested partners from the business community supporting the research projects. The results of the 10 groups were presented in the form of posters and management papers, which can be downloaded here.

The presentations stimulated extensive discussions among the participants, who not only had the opportunity to present their competences and experiences, but also received direct feedback from those present. The closing event provided an excellent format for interactive exchange, where guests could share ideas, make professional contacts and end the evening with a cool drink and a snack.

The Institute of Business Informatics - Information Engineering would like to thank all students, project partners, administration and technology and looks forward to the next event in the summer semester 2023!
