Prof. Dr. Christoph Teller and Dr. Ernst Gittenberger gave interesting insights into current IHaM analyses on retail, sales and marketing at this year's MMM symposium.

Among other things, they presented evidence that the expected online revolution is not happening and that the share of online shoppers is actually decreasing. The Covid 19 crisis has also strongly changed shopping behaviour. The factor "proximity" in particular is gaining lasting importance. In an IHaM analysis, around 47 percent of Austrians said they missed shopping in shops.
