Held for the first time over the course of two days, the meeting was organized by the State Administrative Court of Upper Austria, the department of “Public Law” at the JKU, and the Directorate of the Constitutional Service of Upper Austria.

Following opening remarks by Governor Thomas Stelzer, JKU Vice-Rector Andreas Janko also reiterated the enormous importance of universities sharing expertise with companies and vice versa. He remarked that this not only applies to each institution being able to do their jobs better, more conscientiously and with higher quality, it also makes where we live and work more attractive. The annual Administrative Court Day in Linz therefore is the heart and soul of the collaboration between cooperation partners.

In addition to presentations by legal experts including Rudolf Thienel (President of the Administrative Court), JKU Dean Katharina Pabel also chaired a panel discussion.
