Alpbach Forum – Ideas for Tomorrow’s Europe

Organizers of the European Alpbach Forum are offering grants to allow 10 students from Upper Austria to attend.

For over 70 years, the Alpbach Forum has supported interdisciplinary exchange between international decision-makers and representatives in business, government, technology, culture and civil organizations. Over 5,000 participants from over 60 nations will come together from August 15 – 31, 2018 to address and discuss today’s contemporary and pressing issues.

For over 16 years, forum organizers have provided grants to enable students from Upper Austria to attend.

This year’s theme "Diversity & Resilience" will feature workshops and seminars focusing on general topics from both academic and scientific perspectives. The Alpbach talks are 2 to 3 day conferences focusing health, universities, technology, politics, law, business and the financial market. The academic part of the program is rounded out with concerts, fireside chats, and a number of other events and excursions.
