In cooperation with the Institute of Retailing, Sales and Marketing, the Institute of Strategic Management, and the Institute for International Management, final presentations for the graduate seminar "International Business Projects" took place at the end of January as part of the JKU’s Master’s degree program in "Management". Cooperation partners in the local business community were present for the first time, including representatives from the voestalpine Steel Division, Fronius International, KAPSCH TrafficCom AG and KEBA AG. The students successfully presented their information and resolutions to real-world marketing and strategy issues in B2B markets.

In the Year of Covid-19
Three groups of students addressed the interdisciplinary topic "The Impact of Covid-19 on Industrial Markets" for all of the companies. The groups analyzed subtopics addressing interorganizational cooperation (social distancing), resilience in the supply chain, provided an in-depth look at the new way of working, and developed various scenarios for the companies.
Another group of students developed a concept for Fronius International titled "Human Innovation in a B2B context". The Kapsch student team presented findings on the topic of "Corporate-Academia Collaboration as the Sustainable Path to Cutting-Edge Innovation". Another group focused on the "Effects of Covid-19 on Industrial Fairs and Possible Alternatives" for the voestalpine Steel Division. Last but not least, the student Keba team provided a detailed overview of the emerging market for "mobile service robots".
