The two-day Federal Finance Court Day at the JKU was held in October and featured 16 speakers, 140 participants in law, legal sciences, science, consulting and administration. Organized by Prof. Walter Summersberger and Prof. Thomas Bieber (Federal Fiscal Court - BFG / Institute for Fiscal Law, Tax Law and Tax Policy & Institute for Procedural Justice), Prof. Lyane Sautner (head of the Institute for Procedural Justice) presented current research findings from the faculty focus on "Procedural Justice".

Given the high level of interest, BFG President Dr. Peter Unger and JKU Vice-Dean Andreas Janko drew attention to the close partnership between the JKU and the BFG, which is unique in the Austrian academic landscape, and remarked it ought to be further strengthened. Plans to organize the 2024 BFG Day are in the works.
