Robert Koeppe (Department of Soft Matter Physics) was presented with a gold award in the category of “Technology” for his project titled "Sendance" which allows sensors to ‘see’ inside of components made of glued wood. The EDISON award is an idea competition in Upper Austria and presents awards in three categories in order to find the state’s best inventions. Award organizers received 61 submissions. The process included searching for top innovative ideas and offering coaching services before the selected ideas were then evaluated by a panel of renowned experts.
