Girl Power in IT Research

Approximately 90 researchers from 16 nations work at the Software Competence Center Hagenberg, bringing the female quota to 25%.

One of these scientists, DI Lisa Ehrlinger, studied computer sciences at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU). She first became enthralled with the field after graduating high school while working at an IT department and becoming better acquainted with the different domains, ranging from application development to server and network administration. She realized that this area not only a good fit, but fun and interesting as well. She broadened her professional experience during her studies by working as a software engineer at companies such as Dynatrace and Catalysts. Click on the video interview below to learn more.
