The new Bachelor's degree program in International Business Administration (IBWL) launches this fall at the JKU and 111 prospective students have already registered to enroll.
111 prospective students (29 from Austria, 16 from EU/EEA countries, and 66 from non-member countries) have registered to enroll, vying for one of 80 spots in the program. The curriculum includes education in globally connected cycles, global networking, cross-border understanding of business and action, as well as honing intercultural skills. Once again, the Covid-19 pandemic shows just how in demand this kind of expertise is today.
Managed by the JKU Business School, the new English-language Bachelor's degree program IBWL complements current conventional business courses and includes business administration, business informatics, and economics. The curriculum not only provides students with a solid, base-knowledge education in business, the program also gives students various opportunities to work effectively as part of an intercultural team, and study abroad.
Prof. Michael Tumpel, program director and head of the Institute of Business Administration and Taxation at the JKU, remarked: "The IBWL Bachelor's degree program not only helps students to embark on an international career, the program also supports the global perspective of digitalization."
