Triage - medicine in collapse mode. What does it mean? Who does it hit? Still to be prevented?

As the current numbers of reported cases begin to rise exponentially, medical professionals may have to implement a system of triage patience care, as was used in other countries. What happens when the system is at capacity?

JKU Rector Meinhard Lukas talks with Prof. Jens Meier (head of the Department for Anesthesiology and Operative Intensive Care Medicine), Prof. Andreas Valentin, member of the Bioethics Commission (Federal Chancellery), and young, intensive care physician Dr. Regina Giera, about one of the most difficult decisions a physician must make once the system no longer works as it should.
