The JKU is Once Again Accredited as a Family-Friendly University

The 2025 certificate award ceremony took place in Vienna's Aula der Wissenschaften.

A total of 168 companies, universities and healthcare and nursing care facilities across a wide range of industries and organizational sizes accepted the berufundfamilie, hochschuleundfamilie and berufundfamilie certificates for health and nursing care facilities. The JKU was among the recipients, having been certified as a family-friendly university since 2011.

The JKU was recognized for a number of innovative measures and policies, including flexible work schedules, options to allow employees to work from home, various childcare options at Kidsversity, growing a family-friendly campus, and programs for those on maternity leave to ensure work-life balance when it comes to family responsibilities and career/studies.
